Brentford have agreed terms with free agent Ben Mee after the former Burnley captain’s contract expired this summer.

The 32-year-old has left Turf Moor after 11 years at the club, who were relegated to the Championship last season.

The centre-back is now set to become Brentford’s fourth major summer signing after the arrivals of Aaron Hickey, Keane Lewis-Potter and Thomas Strakosha.
